From the editor:  During my tenure at the Valley Inn & Country Club on Central Boulevard in the late 60's, Brownsville had two all-night restaurants downtown we used to order food for hotel guests; Higgies and Fisher's Cafe.

Fisher's also operated a restaurant at the Brownsville Airport.

Rene Torres has been kind enough to send us a menu for Fisher's as well as a montage of photos from the cafe.
