Culiacan, Sinaloa (September 9, 2023) Sometimes, a member of one of Mexico's many drug cartels, has to make hard choices.
Things may be getting too hot or there may be simply too much competition pushing cocaine or meth and it may be less dangerous to deal fentanyl.
That was the business decision made by Luis Javier Benitez Espinoza, someone America's DEA has offered a $1,000,000 bounty for information leading to his capture.
The DEA can save the reward money, though, as Espinosa, a member of the Chapitos faction of the Sinaloa Cartel, was killed by his own people.
You see, Espinoza, kidnapped a 60 year old man driving a Range Rover, but that older gentleman himself had cartel ties, and Espinoza was assassinated for his mistake.
The message must be: Be careful who you kidnap.
These Cartel people follow their rules: respect, loyalty and honesty. They are like businessmen. They know the price of drugs, the demand and who is friend and who is the enemy. Only the brave know how to deal with the drug lords.
ReplyDeleteJim, you should ask Pedr0 Cardenas about these rules, he knows all about that Matamoros lifestyle!
