Trump did considerable damage to our country's institutions, undermined strategic alliances that took a generation to build and put a dent in the prestige and respect the United States once commanded, but he has nothing to do with global warming. In fact, he had no understanding of the science, thinking a cold, icy day in Chicago disproved the concept.

    4. Trump is harmless. Legal and financial troubles will keep him occupied. I'm more wary of the January 6 insurrection group who've been feeding on a steady diet of misinformation and conspiracy theories. They constitute the biggest threat to our country.
