Cars Lined Up for Early Voting Tuesday at Brownsville Public Library |
After dropping Ana off at a nursing and rehabilitation clinic for her evening shift, I stopped at the Brownsville Public Library to send Donald Trump his eviction notice. Although I could have just walked inside to vote, I chose the curbside option pictured above, just to see how it worked. The line was long, but moved about as quickly as the line to get into H.E.B. at the start of the pandemic.
After the election, Trump has 99 days to clear his MAGA hats, spray tan and hair spray out of the White House, his campaign to "Make America White Again" having failed. Meanwhile, Trump continues to "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory" by preparing his 39% core of C and D students for "massive voter fraud," "a rigged election like you've never seen" and other unprovable bull shit.
It will take more than Joe Biden, though, for the U.S. to regain its stature, respect, leadership and, most importantly, trust from the world's leaders.
Russia's Vladimir Putin, China's Xi Jinping and North Korea's Kim Jong Un will look back longingly on their collective four years manipulating a total dumbass U.S. President.
As Trump promised, they almost got tired of winning. Xi watched the U.S. President "punish" China by making Americans pay more for their goods, bankrupting hundreds of U.S. farmers. Putin convinced Trump he would "never" interfere with U.S. elections despite what our country's intelligence agencies said, while young Jong Un just kept building up his nuclear arms with Trump helpless to stop him.
He also needs to clear the coronavirus: in the curtains, in the furniture, in the walls , in the kitchens, phones etc
