ALEX RAMIREZ DOCUMENTS FLYERGATE BY MENDEZ, COWEN AND GALONSKY WITH PHOTOS

From the editor:  Minutes after we published our "Flyergate" article, Alex Ramirez sent us the pictures below, documenting what appears to be illegal use of United States Post Office receptacles to advertise the political campaigns of Trey Mendez, Nurith Galonsky and John Cowen, designated the "Holy Trinity" on this blog.

  1. What a dumb idea! These people want to be city leaders? LMFAO!!!

  2. Illegal activity from any candidate should disqualify them from holding office. If these people are doing this now, what can we expect if they actually get elected?

    3. Daniel Lenz is just a straight shooter who has no trouble speaking his mind. Pussies are those who are simply too afraid to identify corruption and push back.

In the case of the three candidates in question, they have EVERY advantage; money, name recognition and education. Why would they allow their campaigns to be sullied by such an amateurish, unprincipled move?

    4. Oh, go soak your big, fat head in a bowl of piss, Jim. You and Lenz are the pussies. LOL

    5. Son, Lenz and I signed our comments. You didn't have the courage, the typical trait of the gutless, or, as you say, a pussy.

  3. So what are you going to do about it, old fuck? LOL

  4. 3 ratas nothing new, this Brownsville and these three will for the people very quickly but the citizens will have miles and miles of bike and hike trails but out streets will be having more potholes for your vehicle to brake down. Brownsville will never change because the Democrats don't know and will never know how to bring our city from the abessy of stupidity

  5. Heinous crime. Ranks right up there with the Manson murders. Send them to the MAX in Colorado along with el Chapo.

  6. I remember very clearly while delivering Newsday the postal worker telling me if I put one more paper in a mail box I would be hit with fines. I researched it and learned eventhough my customers owned the mailboxes only the post office could use them. Sounds like an unconstitutional taking to me by the government but I have known the rule for nearly 50 years. This was a really stupid move. Also it is not about the gravity of the violation it is about the violation. But to be honest I highly doubt the post office wants the fight as to who controls a private mailbox. I think the Supreme Court would call it an unconstitutional taking of private property for exclusive governmental use.

  7. Looks fake. Probably a pro-Cabler fool behind it. Don't be so naΓ―ve. You're convicting people without proof!

  8. FYI Home Mail Boxes are Private Property , unless owner put a Do Not Post sign, and press charges for violations, there is nothing wrong

  9. So, you clowns are worried about aggressive campaigning, while you ignore the obvious facts that Brownsville didn't progress for over a decade while Charlie was City Manager and Rick was District 1 Commissioner. Oh, let's vote them in for another 10 years of stagnation. The minute Charlie exited, things started happening in Brownsville. Why would anyone want him back? Why not try a new approach in District 1? Those two are what kept Brownsville as the Third World Capital of the United States. Look into the shady deals that Rick and Jessica are allowing at GBIC, with their clown, Lozoya. You want more of that? Yeah, a few flyers on mailboxes ... my God!!! Oh and let's not forget their excellent campaign advisors, Carlos Marin, Carlos Elizondo and Charlie Atkinson. You know that no good can come from that. Los tres Chales ... run for the woods mijitos. Brownsville is doomed to stagnation, if these clowns gain control.

    1. My partisan friend, No one is "worried" about aggressive campaigning, just the dumb idea to hang flyers on mailboxes in violation of federal regulations, such a foolish move by three young candidates with all the advantages of money, education and name recognition. It's noteworthy that none of the three young frontrunners ever disavowed this foolish blunder, either orchestrated from the top or initiated by overeager, uninformed supporters.

    2. Exactly. They were given their chance and now you want to bring them back? FUERA!

  10. Why in the hell would three candidates who spent a combined $200,000 in the primaries all of a sudden want to save a few pennies by hanging flyers on mailboxes? With that kind of decision-making skill, we could easily see another Bannergate or United Brownsville in our future.

  11. Cabler can't face yet another loss. Resorting to fake news to buy his way back in. NOT TODAY!

  12. I could of easily taped those flyers, take a picture, and create a story about it. WHERE ARE THE FACTS? Leading people into these bogus stories...
