Intuition, life experience and cognitive skills enable a person to connect the dots. Typically, such dots or evidence in a case are connected very simply to another dot in close proximity. There must be convincing evidence to go beyond the simplest, most logical connection.
Dot connecting is fun and easy.
Let's identify a few basic dots in the matter of Robert Sanchez running as a primary opponent to Eddie Trevino in the 2018 County Judge race, changing his party stripe.
We invite blogger Bobby Wightman-Cervantes to follow us on this journey, hopefully taking notes.
Carlos Cascos |
Dot #1. Carlos Cascos asked Tad Hasse, a Republican/Libertarian, to run for County Treasurer as a Democrat against David Betancourt in 2010.
In that "Year of the Tea Party" Hasse had a good chance of winning as a Republican, but not as a Democrat, the party assigned him by Cascos. Tad Hasse took one for the team.
Dot#2. Robert Sanchez says it was Chris Valadez and Tad Hasse who convinced him to run for County Judge in the Democrat primary against Eddie Trevino.
Robert considers Tad a friend "for decades" and Chris his "best friend." He wants to throw neither under the bus even though they thoroughly manipulated him.
And, if you think that Valadez does ANYTHING without running it past Carlos Cascos, you're dumber than a rock. Cascos is his mentor, his boss. The two are joined at the hip.
Tad is from the same cloth. He has shown he will even change political parties for Cascos and ideology is what Tad lives and breathes.
Do you want more proof that Cascos and Valadez acted in bad faith with respect to Robert Sanchez? Consider this. They didn't even invite their buddy to watch the Spasmatics at the Ambassador Event Center, even after he's put himself on the line for them against Eddie Trevino.
Good friends, huh!
Connect dots 1 and 2.
Rebecca Gomez |
Dot 3. Rebecca Gomez is a bit player here and will not be held legally liable. She's a campaign treasurer for God's sakes. Tad told me that, since neither Rebecca nor Robert had a printer, he printed out all the forms for them and they just "fucked up."
Dot 4. Robert Sanchez is legally liable, but has an easy out. He can simply revise his campaign reports, claiming the contribution. There is still time. He does need to decide on how much he received, though, as he's been all over the place; $1,000, $600 and, if you believe Duardo, $800. He needs to, as they say in politics and crime, "get his story straight."
Connect dots 3 and 4.
Dot 6. Bobby's conspiracy theory that somehow Eddie Trevino orchestrated Spazgate as a ploy to raise money is ludicrous. He quietly pulled in $50,000 during the primary, adding that to his $70,000 loan. That's almost a war chest for this race. He was not desperate for cash. . . LOL
This is so easy. Even a caveman or an elderly blogger can figure this out. . . .
Cascos and his boys screwed up, orchestrating something as unnecessary as the Watergate burglary 44 years ago and just as dumb.
But, all is not lost. They can still rebound. They just have to come clean.
I’m just a caveman. I fell in some water that turned to ice. Your scientists unthawed me. Now you world of dots frightens me, Mr. Barton. Are dots 5 and 6 freestanding dots? Do we connect them to anything?
ReplyDeleteCarlos Cascos told Tad Hasse to run as a Democrat against David Betancourt. WTF
ReplyDeleteShe’s Madam Chairwoman! She’s not a messenger. Don’t disrespect her.

ReplyDeleteYou forget you and Bobby sold out! Free tickets to Cascos party? Ring a bell, Jim?
ReplyDeleteInteresting that you write on Dot 5, RE Morgan Graham, that "She works at the behest of her boss, Carlos Cascos". Cascos is a private citizen running for office, and not currently in government. Morgan is the duly-elected Cameron County Republican Party Chairman. How, exactly, is he HER BOSS? I doubt you wrote that by mistake. So how is he her boss? Please explain
ReplyDeleteIf you follow someone's orders, they are your de facto boss or master. Nena was my boss for fifty years inside our home because I allowed it, doing things her way.
DeleteIt’s the other way around. She’s his boss. She makes him piss sitting down.
DeleteDavid Betancourt is a big Cascos supporter. Cascos wouldn’t put someone up against his friend.
ReplyDeleteCascos did it
DeleteCarlos Cascos is the Cameron County Republican Party, AKA Cascos Criminal Cartel . He runs the the party therefore tells Morgan what to do . Therefore making him her boss.
ReplyDeleteDot 1 should be all over dot 5 in the diaGraham. Jajaja
