TEAM SYLVIA MEETS TO PLOT STRATEGY TO FORM BOARD MAJORITY!

Team Sylvia:  Drue Brown,  Dr. Sylvia Atkinson, Dora Sauceda

Yesterday, we received a copy of a Request for Donations on a Dr. Sylvia Atkinson letterhead.  Atkinson asked for donations ranging from $750 to $7,500 to "form a board majority."

Today, we received the photo above, ostensibly a meeting involving Drue Brown, a candidate for BISD Trustee, Place 1, Dr. Sylvia Atkinson, currently a BISD Trustee, Place 7 and Dora Sauceda, currently Area Assistant Superintendent, but, also, Sylvia's personal choice to replace Superintendent Dr. Esperanza Zendejas.

If the name Dora Sauceda sounds familiar, it might be due to some notoriety surrounding her moving costs in 2012, when she left BISD to take a job in Dallas, billing BISD for $4082 in moving costs, submitting an invoice from C&W Moving Company.

C&W Moving Company turned out to not be a licensed moving company at all, but simply an invoice printed up using the address of Dora Sauceda's brother-in-law Noe Sauceda, a former BISD superintendent, then an assistant professor at University of Texas-Pan American.

  2. Hold that thought, but Sylvia is not up for re-election. She will do a lot more damage before that day comes.
