From the editor:  Another local blogger has burst on the scene; Robert Sanchez, AKA Captain Bob or Mr. Clean.  

Mr. Sanchez, according to Jerry McHale, is being mentored by Duardo Paz-Martinez.  That, actually, is obvious with the inimitable writing style.

We reproduce here,  one of the Captain's latest efforts, a sincere endorsement of Arturo Trevino, the owner of a drive-thru adult beverage enterprise, for City Commissioner At-Large, Place A.

"This gentleman is a businessman. He owns Trevi Drive -Thrus here in Brownsville. Trevi Drive-Thrus are my favorite. His employees are so nice and the drinks are so cold. There are convenient locations all over our town. Anyway, Arturo went to Saint Joe in a class with my sister Ana. He also went to school with our mutual pal, the infamous Dr. Carlos Ponce. I recently started hanging around Arturo and he has been a special dude. So intelligent and up to date with City Issues. As we speak of city issues he is premier with facts and knowledgable. At times I am corrected only for the correction to be true later. This guy should be on the City Commission. Honestly, TRUST ME ON THIS SUGGESTION. Arturo Trevino."
