Dirty politics....
When you fight with a pig you both get dirty - but the pig likes it!
It wasn't enough that Yolanda Begum's signs have been stolen and vandalized, it wasn't enough for her opponents to spread false rumors about her education, it wasn't enough for her opponents to make fun of a proud American's accent who immigrated and thrived and lived the American dream in our County, now they have verbally and physically accosted her while trying to do a good deed for folks in need.
While we certainly expected some dirty tactics and ugly political fodder, this is simply low class and reprehensible behavior.
We deserve and should expect more from those seeking public office. If those running for office throw out all ethical boundaries and decency while attempting to win, what kind of behavior can we expect from this type of individual he/she they were to win????
It's so bad when people put negative things on facebook.. Each candidate has the right to go into adult daycare to talk to the citizens in brownsville, all political candidates do it.. i don't understand why Brownsville Cheezmeh continue's to hurt the community they so say they love... all that brownsville cheezmeh is doing is hurting people to go out and vote.. they always preach about bulling , they should make the example and let people vote for who they want.... stop hinding behind a computer and start making erasmo and linda.. start teaching people not to be bulling people around, because that is all i see in facebook in the brownsville cheezmeh page and in lindas as well.. we all have children and they are making everyone look bad,, now yoland and erin are good people let them do their politics in a good manner.. not bashing each other..in this great country of ours, everyone who wants to run for any public election has the right , weather you are educated or not...i truly have voted for yolanda, why because the name Hernandez has ruin our city and town,, that is dirty politics comming from that family..... i feel as a community we need to clean up house in the county.. starting in the court house... let the both candidates do their job, and people who are followers from brownsville cheezmeh need to make their own opions, not make the opions that linda and brownsville cheezmeh want you to make... you have the freedom to choose your candidate and use your vote wise...
ReplyDeleteTHAT IS ERNIE,ERIN, NORMA, ALL THE CADRIEL AND THE HERNANDEZ FOR YOU.
ReplyDeleteMost parents want to teach our children integrity, pride in themselves. Values, honesty, love of country. It is very sad to watch openly what Ernie and Norma are teaching their daughter. It is a real shame. Why would you want to expose your daughter to the onslaught of mean names and nasty names and teach her to cheat and lie and be unfair in ever endeavor she pursues. I feel very sorry for the daughter what else can she do? What’s worse is what else does she know. She will follow the dysfunction and pass this reprehensible behavior to her children. They will be despised by the majority of the people and she is fine with that. Ernie should be ashamed for letting Norma lead his family into such a horrible lime light. I can guarantee you one of this generation of Hernandez's not including the family member who killed the young woman in Harlingen will wind up in jail.
ReplyDeleteRemember Crosby Stills and Nash.... Teach your parents well,
Their children's hell will slowly go by, and feed them on your dreams
The one they picked the one you'll know by.
It is wonderful that corruption is being outed in our county but when will the corruption at BISD be stopped? Is there hope for our teachers and children?
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a beautiful day.
And how about the taxpayers the BISD $4 are taking to the cleaners, throwing away the opportunity with the Healthsmart lawsuit and paying $250,000 for the boggus forensic audit which proved to be nothing but a witch hunt at the direction of CPG. Teachers, children, tapayers, all paying a heavy price at the hands of those self-serving BISD Board members who have personal agendas. There actions are definitely not "in the best interest of the district" and for sure not "all about the kids" as Madame Secretary likes to state.
