Once, twice, self deprecation is ok, but you're wearing thin on the "I'm just west coast trash like McHale and duh the blog is somehow surviving despite my bumbling senile old self ..yeah, we get it. But don't overplay your hand. You really aren't that smart but you get an at bat on our miserable, don't give a shit town not because of what you put out there but because you put it out there. Why Rene Torres can't fly on his own is beyond me. I guess he's old school and feels he has to punch the gringo company clock.
ReplyDeleteWhile my self-deprecation and depreciation is deserved, Mr. Torres has flown "on his own" via several formats. Most of what he contributes here is a republishing of what he's written for the San Benito News or the Port Isabel/South Padre Press.
