Deportation seems incongruous with Brownsville, a town with a 95% Hispanic population. Most living here came from south of the border, if not this generation then one before that. Additionally, prior to 1848, everything south of the Nueces River was considered part of Mexico.
Proponents of deporting the 11 million considered "illegal" from this country claim racism is not the motivation, but simply enforcing the country's laws, but that case can't be made honestly, factually.
Simply Google White Supremacist Stephen Miller, the thrust of much of Trump's mass deportation policy. Trump himself has been totally fueled by racism since his 1978 refusal to rent his New York apartments to Blacks, his insistance on the execution of the Central Park 5 long after their exoneration, Charlottesville, birtherism and the dumbass claim that Haitian immigrants were eating the resident's dogs and cats, but the absolutely compelling evidence of Trump's overt racism was his recent acceptance of white immigrants from South Africa after so vehemently rejecting non-whites.
Those not admitting that Trump's mass deportion plans have their foundation in racism are blindly partisan or simply dishonest.
