Jerry McHale, a local blogger, who's made enemies and friends with his sophomoric writings since the mid-70's, has now aimed his limited skillset at yours truly, a Seattle boy who came to the RGV in 1966 and eventually married Army vet Nena Perez January 15, 1970.
Jerry's dander was up because I'd posted the claim by Jerry's sister, Anne McHale Holden, that he'd repeatedly sexually molested her at age 15.
You may not believe Anne's contention that brother Jerry came into her room repeatedly, fingered her, fondled her breasts and ejaculated on her stomach, but please realize that such victims live a life of shame from which they can't recover.
Unfortunately, this world is full of Jerry McHales, misogynists who abuse women and dullards who are on every street corner.
Politicos: Don't admire McHale because he unloads on your opponent with excitable prose and misinformation. He's playing you to fund his juvenile operation. Please, be above that.

You are no better Jim. When it served you, you used Jerry to promote yourself. You ignored what we all knew about Jerry and his perversions. You owe Anne and every other abused person an apology for pushing the likes of Jerry McHale on the people.
ReplyDeleteIf I "promoted" Jerry I'm responsible as you say, but my blog has always been about accurate reporting, not paid for advertisements as Jerry and Juan use to fund themselves. Locally, we have a newspaper, the Brownsville Herald, that's degraded into an irrelevant napkin-sized periodico mostly focused on the upper valley.
