UTRGV History Lecturer William Yancey

(NBC23RGV, Jan.2, 2024)— William Yancey, a history lecturer at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, is on his way to the finals in tonight’s episode of Jeopardy.

Yancey made his first appearance on Jeopardy in September.  He returned to the show’s Second Chance Competition on Monday and won.

Yancey now advances to the finals tonight, looking for a spot in the Champions Wildcard Tournament.
