A reader recently questioned our contention that TSC Board Chair Adela Garza was running a puppet candidate against incumbent Eva Alejandro, her former friend of some forty years:
"Mr. Barton, just because someone runs for trustee doesn't make them a puppet. You're wrong about Norma Lopez-Harris."
Well, that's certainly possible. I've been wrong frequently in my life.
One thing that stands out is that Norma Lopez-Harris, a candidate for Place 7 against Eva Alejandro, is promoting herself, not just as "Dr.," but "DOCTOR." (Notice her campaign sign above.)
The question has been raised as to what kind of doctorate Lopez-Harris might possess, but leave it to the frantic, desperate Adela Garza to make the reveal, spilling the proverbial beans.
So, young Norma Lopez-Harris may have a job in the pharmaceutical field, thus considered a "doctor" by Board Chair Adela Garza. . . . interesting!
Of course, pharmacy is an honorable profession, but we share the details above as a clear indication that Adela Garza is behind the candidacy of Norma Lopez-Harris in a frantic effort to unseat incumbent Eva Alejandro.
So the title of doctor make you any better ? Adela has a GED right? How many of you know of any pharmacist that uses the title of doctor ? Norma, regardless of you say if you are a friend of Adela you will definitely be her mouth piece … Fella!!
ReplyDeleteAdela ‘s defense of Norma is evidence of her trying to buy her candidacy
ReplyDeleteAnybody that rubs elbows with Adela you and your family will be on the FBI list… Norma they listening….
ReplyDeleteTypical Adela
ReplyDeleteNorma, as a pharmacist, you are extremely busy. Where is your loyalty going to be? You don’t know what you are going into. But not to worry, I guarantee you … you will be a failure at the polls especially because Adela is in your corner
ReplyDeleteAdela along with hers daughters think their shit is created of a special fragrance … unlike us humans!!
ReplyDeletePharmacists can obtain some type of doctorate to allow them to work as PAs. I know the VA had them running the Lipid Clinic in San Antonio. But that may have ended after all the complaints. In some cases ER's are using them along with PA's instead of an ER doctor.
ReplyDeleteNorma, politics is a dirty business. Your entrance into it … guarantees that you will be hated by 50% of the people and liked by the half. I hope you and your family are prepared to face this kind of toilet political environment. I hope it doesn’t interfere with your work as a pharmacist … Dispensing one wrong prescription can cause you your job! Or worse…. For your own health… withdraw your candidacy before it’s to late
ReplyDeleteTSC board needs to lower tuition and fees to state jr college level… McAllen n tstc in Harlg charge their students less per hour than TSC…our students are paying more or over the state jr college level… new board members should look at this issue as a priority… Adela the illustrious leader has no inkling what’s going on beyond her nose… she uses college money to have parties, photo ups and celebrations.
ReplyDeleteFound this blog post while trying to educate myself on the candidates. Just wanted to point out that using the term Doctor isn’t a “promotion”, it’s the correct title if someone is a pharmacist…if you earn a PharmD you are a Doctor of Pharmacy the same way if you earn a MD you are a Doctor of Medicine. It’s a professional degree not a doctoral degree.
