Nearly ready to step into the harsh light and public scrutiny of regional politics, we are told,  is one Eric Garza, co-founder and president of Garza & Polin Stategies, LLC, a marketing entity for politicos.

The firm lists its administrative headquarters as  located at 2374 La Feria Rd., Brownsville, a home owned by Ray D. Garza.  Eric Garza, 30, is listed as one of the residents of the home.

Garza is rumored to be considering a run as a Republican candidate for the State Board of Education, District 2, a position occupied by Ruben Cortez, Jr., the son of JP Linda Salazar, since 2012.

We welcome young Eric (almost) to the Brownsville blogosphere, pending his decision to run for this office.
