Did Erasmo Castro Make a Freudian Slip in Extending a Dinner Invitation to the Other Candidates?

Freudian slip: 1. (in Freudian psychology) an inadvertent mistake in speech or writing that is thought to reveal a person's unconscious motives, wishes, or attitudes.

Erasmo Castro
Erasmo Castro, evidently a candidate for City Commissioner At Large A, the position recently vacated by the resigning Cesar de Leon, has invited all other candidates for the position to meet him for "supper."

Considering the above definition of a Freudian slip, Castro's wording of the invitation may reveal something about attitude.

Message from Erasmo Castro to Candidates
for City Commissioner At Large A
Running for "my" seat, Erasmo?  Was that a slip of the tongue of the Freudian variety?

Did you intentionally use a possessive pronoun to describe the available seat?

What is the purpose of the dinner, to discuss ways the other candidates can help you be elected to your seat or support you once sworn in to your office as you fulfill your duties?

Here's another word:

inˈtīdlmənt,enˈtīdlmənt/
