WHO IS THIS JAVIER REYNA RUNNING FOR JUSTICE OF PEACE, 2-2?

A reader sent some pointed questions about the Justice of Peace, Precinct 2, Place 2, race.  I asked if I could simply put the questions out to my other readers and was given the "go ahead."

I will reprint the reader's concerns here:

"Is this the Javier Reyna who, in his capacity with the Sheriff's Department, handled a handicapped person so roughly that the county was sued for $3.2 million dollars?"

"Is the the man who reportedly slapped his wife around in 2010, fleeing before the police could get to the scene?"

"Is this the brother of Gus Reyna, the sheriff's department captain whose wrecked a couple county vehicles while drunk without reporting the accidents as required by law?"

"Is this the nephew of Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, Place 1, Linda Salazar?"
