Has Donald Trump Dumbed Down, Desensitized, Divided the Country in One Year?

Trump Mocking Disabled Person
I suppose countries, like people, can go backwards.  Progress can be reversed, average intelligence can be lowered, manners and respect lost.

If 2016 is the Year of the Donald, it's been a forgettable year, at best.  The presidential candidate gave school kids another vulgar phrase, "grabbing pussy," that seems to not recognize actual female anatomy.  Perhaps Trump was experienced at "grabbing dick" and got confused.

In my school days, we called other kids "retards" and "spastics," denigrating those with learning challenges and disabilities.  In the kinder, gentler decades since, we've learned to refer to those with "special needs," to admire the courage of those fighting muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, polio and other debilitating diseases.  Trump, pictured mocking reporter Serge Kovaleski above, took many of us back to our ignorant, insensitive school yard days.

Brownsville, a city largely populated by people who've migrated from Mexico, must know that Trump's description of those immigrants as "rapists, killers and some good people" is inaccurate and irresponsible, certifiably racist. Nena's deceased father, Manuel Perez, did swim the river, after leaving Ciudad Victoria, but he joined the U.S. Army during WWII, gaining citizenship.  At his death, he  passed along to his widow, both a U.S. Army and U.S. Border Patrol pension.  There was no more vocal U.S. patriot than Manuel Perez.

Grown Brownsville women, with religious pedigrees, have  waxed eloquent on Facebook in their support of Trump, despite his obvious disrespect of women.  He doesn't just grab them, he insults them, calling them dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.  When nine women recently came forward, claiming Trump had forced himself on them sexually, he responded by saying they were not pretty enough to warrant his predatorial assaults.

If the overall intelligence quotient in our country has lowered, Trump can take full credit.  Our nation just seems dumber, more segmented, more polarized, more insensitive since he's dominated this year's news.

  1. After Ralph Tipton's brother sent notice to Marisa Hernandez's attorneys he was going to ask for sanctions in this mornings hearing they nonsuited the civil case against Ralph and Pat. The issue was she swore under oath she had no other remedy for a fair trial in the criminal case other than a temporary injunction against Ralph and Pat speaking. She lied under oath. Just yesterday Judge Banales heard Yzaguirre's Motion to Transfer Venue based on pretrial publicity. They were trying to by pass De Coss and have Banales issue the ruling only De Coss can issue. Also the clear case law that a temporary injunction in a defamation lawsuit is unconstitutional was sent to them. This morning rather than answer the charges of a frivolous lawsuit late last night they on their own dismissed the lawsuit.

It is you story if you want it. I have no interest to blog. But people need to know this.

Hope all is well with Nena. I have been wanting to attack the IMP for his comments about Nena but it seems to upset him more the more you ignore him. Also I wasn't sure he would not respond and attack Nena even more. She look amazing given her health the last time i say her in court. The Imp could never find a woman or wife as beautiful as Nena. I just hate when he goes after her.

    1. It was only yesterday a democrat was making fun of a republican woman on this blog calling her a retard. Being a callous jerk isn't unique to one party.

    3. Why is your headline a question? Take the word "has" and slide it over between Trump and dumbed. It should be a declarative sentence, no question about it.

    5. I'm going to tell you why I am voting for Trump
Someone asked me today how I could vote for Donald Trump (DT), a misogynist, a racist and a bigot. Here is my answer:
Because I use my head to research and find out what candidates really are, not what the media wants me to think.
Because DT has more women in executive and managerial positions than any comparable company, which tells me he is not a misogynist.
Because he pays these women the same or more than their male counterparts, which tells me looks for competence and skills in people, not color, gender or race.
Because he fought the West Palm Beach City to be able to open his newly purchased club, so he could include blacks and Jews as members, who had been banned until then. This tells me he is not a racist.
Because he has raised wonderful children that have turned out to be outstanding, hard working and compassionate adults. He must be doing something right.
Because his economic plans makes sense, are conservative in nature, and I vote based of what is best for my family, my friends and my country.
Because everybody, the left and the right are afraid of him, the media is trying to destroy his image, and even foreign governments are voicing their opinion, so he must be doing something right.. Clean house maybe?
Because I want a Supreme Court of the U.S. (SCOTUS) that will uphold the Constitution, not behave as minions of the Administration. I have had enough with judges that are more like political activists than law enforcers. I do not want the same fate for the SCOTUS.
Because I fear for my families safety if the current trend of not confronting blatant terrorism continues which is a threat to our way of life.
Because I am fed up with the rampant corruption of this Administration. Accountability in government is paramount, and as this Administration has demonstrated, it is a foreign concept to them.
Because I am fed up with the political correctness gone wild, and because he is not afraid to say what everybody thinks but does not dare to say. A thug is a thug, regardless of color, and that's it.
Because it is about time someone puts America's interests ahead of other countries.
Because I know he recognizes and embraces America's exceptionalism, and will not tour the World apologizing for who we are. That tells me he is a patriot.
Because, unlike HRC, he has actually held a job, worked hard and achieved success.
And last, but not least, because I am more offended by what Hillary does than by what Trump says.
