Unguided Tour of Famous, Historic El Jardin Hotel in Brownsville, Texas

From the editor:  Those attending the Freddy Gomez Concert today on barricaded Levee Street will likely peer to the south, seeing the antiquated El Jardin Hotel, Brownsville's eight story, decaying landmark.  The once-proud flagship of the city now awaits its ultimate destiny, dynamite and the wrecking ball.

  2. It was inexcusable to allow this historic building to simply die. Brownsville's city government in the 80's, 90's and 2000's should hang their heads in shame.

  4. What a shame man! The city can spend Millions on the piece of shit Casa Del Nylon building, but nothing on the historical landmark El Jardin Hotel building.
