  1. Not surprised. Never understood how property taxes kept going up while the Brownsville economy tanked. While PUB raises rates just as gas prices plummet. In the poorest city in America! How these entities tax the poorest people to line a few pockets is beyond shameful. Sin verguenza.

  2. Good! Hopefully , this piece -of-shit crook starts singing like a canary so they can get everyone involved in their scheme . Only thing that bothers me is the D.A. is involved in the arrest.......are they not compadres? Saenz will never do the right thing and prosecute; that's why corrupt officials are in almost all elected positions in our county .

  3. Will Saenz the DA help Tony out of the CACA like he helped Ernie?

  4. When will the DA prosecute the voter fraud?? Everyone knew what they were doing.

Saenz arrested politiqueras, made a big show, then nothing... let them out, never prosecuted. Never sentenced.

This is just another corruption catch-and-release for publicity. Everything he does is aimed to make headlines for a few days, but then he lets the culprits go. He will get my vote once people go to prison. Until then, nope. Seen this before!

  8. Thank you FBI. It takes federal agents from out of town to come down here and clean out all the mexican democrat thiefs. I hope this is just the start. TRUMP will save this country. What few good democrats that there are will vote for him.

  10. All the Cameron County Courthouse Ratons are peeking out from crevices and cracks as they hide from their "dirty deeds". You can hide; however, there is no place to run. Hats off to the FBI. FBI...there are plenty more rodents where these came from.

  11. So disappointed to read today's Herald story on the tax office arrests . Nothing regarding all the properties bought on the cheap by people with inside knowledge , nothing on the worker that bought over 3000 properties . Just some bullshit charges on fraudulent vehicle registration . ...Our dumb-ass District Attorney will no doubt drop the charges in return for his resignation . No freaking way they investigate the real estate theft, too many "Important "people involved, too many elected officials involved Saenz claims he started investigation in 2014, newspaper claims DPS started investigation in 2015.....At least Saenz still has his sick sense of humor : Operation Dirty Deeds, I'm sure, is referring to all the shenanigans he has pulled while in office .

    1. Agreed. The tax delinquent properties released for auction to the general public are only the absolute shit. I've always suspected the primo properties are picked up by politicos on a wink-wink deal for pennies on the dollar.
