  2. We need to put sensible women in charge cause it sure looks like men, who have always ruled the BND, have thoroughly fucked everything up. These brainless idiots have to go!

  3. What we want to hear from the BND Board is a Resolution to end property taxes. The port is a business and should be guided by the public....but the Board members are not guided by the public, but by greed, power mongering and by the Port Director. It is time to end the public funding of BND....."No taxes without representation" and we have no public representation on this board.

    1. We need to send them packing. Realistically, they do buy every single election.
We need good people to run for ALL of these positions..

  5. The Port Officials we have are all idiots and they ALL need to be replaced.
I heard Cowan, Reed and one other person are planning to announce their campaigns at the Latin Jazz Fest this weekend. What a bunch of LOSERS!

  6. These incompetent fat cats are forcing these huge industrial LNG plants (and a crude oil refinery which will be pumping out MASSIVE, HARMFUL pollution) on a eco sensitive area whose lifeline IS nature and eco tourism. They realize they are putting THOUSANDS of already existing jobs at risk for a few hundred bad jobs. They are fully aware that Port Isabel and South Padre Island have said "NO" but don't seem to care what the people (TAXPAYERS) want. Proof: they have deleted any hint of tourism from the new slogan ( paying 90,000 to a San Antonio P.R. firm) and replaced it with "Igniting the future of the RGV". The new slogan should be placed over a picture of a big VAPOR CLOUD. What they are doing is going to destroy us. Send them packing in the next election... because they DESERVE IT. And SAY NO TO LNG AND CRUDE OIL REFINERIES.

  7. I wonder how much money they're getting from the LNG companies for their campaigns.

  8. They will have opponents in these elections. Out with the old and IN with the new.

  9. Jim, you should investigate Port Monies and each candidates spending, especially Masso and his relationship with Sounds of Downtown's Rosendo and the wasteful spending on his party "sponsorship's".
