Wanted to let u know that Robert Sanchez is collecting, or trying to collect votes for his petition to run for mayor. Overheard him talking and saying hes staying low key and will announce after charro days he sounded ridiculous..he is promising people that he will get them a PUB rebate on the fees paid throughout the year. This guy is not a leader and is not mayor material. My question and everyones question should be how does he expect to pay for this..PUB is already in debt..i know mchale is pushing him to run, but mchale is also supporting william..the only thing he is going to achieve by this is get Tony reelected.

Robert Sanchez do the city and yourself a favor and stay out of the race. You have no chance to win, people dislike you, even though you think they adore you. Save yourself the expense and embarrassment.

ReplyDeleteHow happy can "Captain Boob's" family be about his potential campaign. He has embarrassed himself in previous political campaigns that this time will only make it worse....especially for his parents and other family members. His is a "Boob" and running is just a self indulgence we expect because of his gigantic ego and desire to promote himself. But....in the end he is just another "wannabe" who, if elected, would contribute to this city's downward spiral.

ReplyDeleteThis guy has shown over and over again that he has poor judgment. Ask him how many lawsuits he has had to settle. And didn't he once suggest that Brownsville did not need a public library because, after all, the schools all have libraries? And didn't he post a photo on his website on his way to some sports event or the other in a vendor’s private plane when he was on the PUB Board? He doesn't know the meaning of the phrase "appearance of impropriety". And that is giving him the benefit of the doubt. He has also shown himself to be a homophobe. He just doesn’t seem to have the judgment to be mayor.

We will need to have some fundraisers of sorts for posters and stuff.. it will be a grassroots people of Brownsville campaign... I hope to have your support...
His wife did not support his decision ? She has a very good reason why. Maybe Mr.Sanchez should keep better track of his wife than this election.
