  3. He says he is going to unite everyone and work with everyone.

How can he accomplish this when he's going to be fighting for everything?

  4. Forest Gump's Mexican Son: What's my destiny, Carlos?

Carlos: You are going to have to figure that out for yourself....while I stand like a puppeteer two feet to your left.

  6. That summer spent studying finance in the City of London will really come in handy in Brownsville.

I have one, and only one, suggestion for this guy, move North of latitude 32, now, before it is too late.

  8. i like cesar. he's young. educated. good looking. brings a fresh perspective to the city.

what i don't like is that he is more loyal to mexico than he is to the US. his fan base (not voting base) is from mexico.

i like cesar. he lost me at St. Joe.

    1. St. Joe teaches American principles and follows an American style education. i think he is more loyal to the people of our community and improving our quality of life and thats what is important not false claims he is loyal to a deteriorating country.

    2. The majority of corrupt elected officials in cameron county all came out of St.Joe......so much for American principles . .....what a joke of a school .

    3. not all elected officials come from st joe and we all know that, regardless while many do graduate from there, they obtain the position partially through the education they receive from st. joe which is of better quality than most BISD schools. dont let a small detail cloud your judgement of the correct candidate.

    5. focus on him. not the fault of others before him. bigger problem is brownsville is among the least educated in our nation.. and you argue about one of the strongest schools we have?

  10. Just another privileged St. Joe grad telling us that his past....mostly outside of Brownsville.....should make him a "better" candidate. Just more political garbage......more political bullshit.

    1. how bout you do something about it like run for office rather than attack an honest person who is trying to make the best for browsville.from the comfort of your home.

  11. St. Joe is a third rate "prep-school" built around a system of economic apartheid. At one time it was a Marist school with a highly qualified and dedicated faculty from OUTSIDE Brownsville. Now it is just another local joke pretending to be something it is not.

  15. three minutes is hardly enough to get any point across, much less your whole bio and platform. I hate it when politicos read off of prepared statements. Speak from the heart.

  17. Is there a place where a voter may go to do research on all these candidates. NOT the newspaper? I would like to find out where they were born and raised, do they own businesses and which ones, who is funding their campaigns, and their agendas?
