This contract is light years ahead of what we have now. The current JP we know what her priority is WEDDINGS to fight over who gets to do the WEDDINGS even make up an illegal wedding waiver for cash. Truancy kids? Waste of valuable time that could be making money with WEDDINGS right Erin!

DeleteYes, we've got one lawyer, Erin H. Garcia, caught breaking the law by the Attorney general for making fake wedding waivers, and another lawyer candidate Jonathan Gracia, who used to work for Villalobos and had to testify in court about his shady case work for Vilallobos before Villalobos went to prison. Hmmm.

ReplyDeleteJim, my issues with Yolanda are simple. She lies. She is lying about having 2 degrees. She is lying about being a public servant. She is lying about all of t Truancy cases going to JP2/2 court. She harps on Truancy. What about everything else? She doesn't have a clue...Truancy is a small aspect of that court. What is she gonna do for everything else...call her son?

DeleteNo that's Gracia, who's lying about being a public servant. He has never been elected before.
Yolanda is a very smart woman with life experience and with a lot of common sense. Truancy might not be all that a JP position entitles but it is one that many ignore. Yolanda wants to nip the problem in the beginning, when the child is young, she wants to make sure that the children are helped in grade school to avoid them taking the wrong path in life.
DeleteTo 5:13 AM, you are barking up the wrong tree. Never in the history of JP's have there been so many fuckups until Erin Hernandez the Attorney became JP. So discard that you have to be an Attorney to be JP, just remember what happen to Mrs. Loser, you deserve legal experience. Erin ended up needing legal advice. Say no to Attorneys that want to be JP's, its not a good combination.

Voters of Cameron County lets not forget who brought to light and stood her grounds against the "politiqueras" and the corrupt elected officials and the wanting to be officials using them to get elected. I have nothing against Gracia but lets face it, as an attorney there are other elected offices that are more suited for attorneys(District Attorney, District Judge , County Court Judge etc...) Yolanda Begum and Ruben Pena stood up and fought this fight resulting in indictments and convictions, while some of our elected officials who are in office stood on the sidelines and ignored this illegal activity. Joe Rivera and Sylvia Garza Perez held elected positions during this scandals and at one point implicated and associated with the scandals. But oh well, its up to the voters to decided. One last thing, in the history of Cameron County during my age era, not one Republican elected official has disgrace his position as much as the democrats. Its just a thought.
