Alex Guerrero Announces Closing of Donalec Social Club in Downtown Brownsville

Alex Guerrero
"It is with great sadness that we have to announce DONALEC SOCIAL CLUB has closed its door for ever, due to the ridiculous city ordinance of not allowing small bars(under 1000 SF) to obtain a Mixed Drinks TABC License, But we believed in downtown Brownsville and went ahead and invested a considerable amount of money with the hope the city would promote the Entertainment District they created 2 or 3 years ago but it never happened, in order to offer high quality entertainment it is necessary the revenue from mixed drinks to afford it, we want to thank all our friends and customer for their support while we where open."

  3. Alex only got into the downtown hype because he thought the city was going to give him money for opening a bar downtown. It back fired on him. The only people that ran him dry was the Cheezmosos. They played his dumb ass into thinking their Kool Aid Drinkers alone would keep his business a hot spot and make millions. As Erasmo would say "We are a Legion" a Legion of Leeches that is. Pay your own drinks losers. Pobre Alex never got it. Keep your money Alex your not getting any younger.

  7. That picture of the club kind of looks more like a painting. Anyway, looks like it was a nice little bar.
