While Rio Elevator continues work on replacing the hydraulic jack in the elevator at El Tapiz building, visitors with business at the Fire Administration or City Planning offices on floors two and three, are given an option:
If you are unable to walk up the stairs, please dial "6150" and someone will meet with you.
The above sign appears on a table just next to the broken elevator. An inter-office phone sits to the left.

ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is with the "No Banos Publicos" sign next to the elevator door? So, only the employees can use the restrooms? What does this say about downtown?
ReplyDeleteI experience the same thing at IBC BANK DT. I went in there to make a deposit and ask where the restrooms were and they told me they have no restroom available for the public. It is a city ordinance that business establishments have to provide restrooms to it's employees and it's customers and public (TAX DOLLAR) buildings must provide restrooms to ALL.
