Arvin Tucker, Maggie Gonzalez,
Democratic Ballot Judge

Maggie Gonzalez, pictured on the left with Arvin Tucker at a Sylvia Garza-Perez campaign event, has been the Democratic Ballot Judge in Cameron County for a number of years during the party chairmanship of Giberto Hinojosa, Dan Sanchez and Sylvia Garza-Perez. During the tenure of Ms. Gonzalez, there have been numerous accusations of extreme mishandling of mail-in ballots, voter fraud and the convictions of two politiqueras, Margarita Ozuna and Sofia Solis.
While not placing the blame for all of that on the ballot judge, it may be time for new blood in that office, especially with a new Democratic Party Chair, Amber Medina, taking office.
Ms. Gonzalez' husband, Leonel, pictured below with practitioners of Middle Eastern dance, has been an Early Ballot Board Member during the time his wife has served as ballot judge.

The guy with the glasses is Arvin Tucker, who works for the City Manager.
