From the editor: I just stumbled across this invitation in junk mail. Two items quickly stand out. While the email address is from "Dr. Escobedo," the invitation is from Enrique Escobedo. The invitation is also not specific as to which office Mr. Escobedo is seeking, merely describing him as a "Cameron County Candidate."
Really? This crook can't get enough from the city. He needs to get out and take off that fake title, it has been proven he is no "DR".

This guy has fooled enough local people to get elected to the BISD Corruption Board of Trustees and it seems that this invitation is just to see who might turn out ....in order for him and whoever holds his lease, to assesses the possibilities of a run for office. My guess is that he is considering being a third candidate vs Ernie Hernandez and Alex Dominguez in order to dilute the vote. Sounds like something Ernie would support as a way to improve his chances.....or, perhaps the "Dr" believes that Ernie is dead in the water and he would like to step in. Unfortunately for Cameron County, Escobedo is just as much a crook and slimeball as Ernie. One wants to be called "Dr" and the other wants to be called "Don"....but both are assholes.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure that these days he'll take whatever "Dr." anybody will give him. But what it originally started out as was as a medical doctor. And one that he supposedly got (of all the "respectable" places in the world), from Mexico. This according to The Brownsville Herald.
