Erasmo Castro Dragustinovis, the high priest of the Cheezite sect, may soon be offering more delicious chicken plates for sale. According to the El Rrun Rrun blog, the Cheezite's political action committee, Bringing Brownsville Change was fined $500 for not filing a report on time. The address of the P.A.C. is given as 316 E. Madison St., Suite D, Brownsville, TX, the location of Linda Castro Dragustinovis' former notary public business. Linda, we are told, was assessed a $17,000 fine last year by the I.R.S. for improper bookkeeping.
An interesting, but indelicate comment received on the Pat Lehmann trash analysis proposal:

Has anyone else noticed that the only time Mayor Tony Martinez seems passionate is when talking about something closely identified with UTB? Does he really love Brownsville or just the University of Texas AT Brownsville?
With quite a number of downtown bars still not open after being remodeled for over a year, many are pointing an accusatory finger at Evaristo Gamez, City Permit Manager as the one stifling downtown renewal. Is Gamez simply enforcing rules or does he demand more from downtown business owners?
Either of the two candidates for District Attorney, Luis Saenz or Chuck Mattingly would have my support if they committed, on or off the record, to prosecute the documented cases of voter fraud in the recent elections, and the instances where public officials broke the law with respect to hiring and the handling of theft or fraud within their department. Cameron County has not had an actual functioning district attorney for several years and it shows with the corruption of our election process.

ReplyDeleteIt is not likely that either Saenz or Mattingly will make a statement to try voter fraud cases. If Luis Saenz were to make that statement, all would laugh because they know he is aligned with the politiqueras and perhaps will use their "fraud" during his campaign. If Mattingly were to make the statement it would solidify support for Saenz as all abusers of voting laws would lean to the Dumbokratic side to protect themselves behind Saenz. Saenz is from the same hole as the other rats in Cameron County and we can't expect change with him as DA.
That's why I said they give that assurance "off the record." Then, if they don't live up to their promise, I will hound them till I die.

DeleteI also believe that niether will say anything about the voter fraud or politiqueras before the election. However, it's important for the first commentor to realize that the politiqueras were heavily behind Masso not Saenz. Saenz has not paid them unlike Masso/Gomez campaigns. It's also rumored Masso is not so privately supporting Mattingly just out of spite. Gomez' family is also abandoning their roots to privately support Chuck because they don't want problems with some of their 8-liner business'and they were the main Masso backers.
ReplyDeleteOne would think that a Republican Cascos would be the first to want to stop voter fraud! I believe, even his base is perplexed and concerned that he apparently aligned himself with Ernie Hernandez and the whole "Team Fraud".
Evaristo Gamez, under Cascos leadership has stiffled the ENTIRE countys revenue by not allowing business to open... or rather not having a plan for new business' that want to open. As a business owner Hidalgo County is MUCH more flexible and business friendly than Cameron County. Why spend your hard earned money here where the permiting department does not know themselfs what steps need to be taken to erect a bulding for commercial use. They tell you one thing, then someone else tells you something totally different. AMAZING!!
