Another puff piece from Barton. Yeah, there is some intrigue here. But it's weak in the face of a myriad of other clearly more important issues. This is better suited for the Harlingen blogs, Jimbo. Perhaps if you had interviewed these two Krauts and asked a few questions, like: "How in the Hell did you drive into Mexico - and across the drug-ravaged country - without losing the war wagon to either the Mexican army or some cartel-fueled Banda in need of a tour bus?" Or, "I know it was Russia, but how do you feel about Pussy Riot?" Or, "What the fuck are the Germans going to do about that Euro shit that's gonna land on the U.S. sooner or later?" Treating them like some travelling Sonny & Cher doesn't cut it, son. Better luck next time, yeah.

I wish I could have done an interview, but the couple parked their van in front of Home Depot on Hwy 48 and were no where around. At least I found the web site detailing their itinerary, but it's all in German. Besides, some people want to fill the world with puff pieces. What's wrong with that? I'd like to know, so here I go againnnnnnnnnn!

DeleteI saw these guys on the Memorial Causeway yesterday. Their truck looks like it could crush a small SUV. Good for them for being able to travel the world and be accepting of other cultures.
