You might as well include AOBE on this list. They just invited all candidates for the school board race to a candidates forum. Somebody, answer me this, how can a candidate come in with prepared notes on questions when no one is suppose to know what questions are to be asked? Candidate Linda Gil was reading from a note pad with information she used on a question relating to a living wage? People and educators walk around Brownsville knowing that a family of four in Cameron County, require a living wage of $14.28 cents per hour. Oh yes! That's common knowledge! Your a dumb ass if you don't know this! Then in a later questions, she bables personal notes she wrote on the original notes! Does this woman think this is a game? A professional teacher's organization is going to endorse a woman that can hardly talk and sounds like she toked up before coming to the forum and then comes in with notes and screws that up also? I tell you what, an endorsement does not guarantee that teachers or members will follow that endorsement, but it does gurantee the final nail in AOBE's coffin as a professional organization. Also, WTF was the Democratic Chairwoman for Cameron County doing at this event? Are we to assume that every member of this association (not a union) is a democrat? I believe that this very presumptious of Mr. Hammas and the board to think that we should be aligned with only the Democratic party of Cameron County. Let's see what Mr. Patrick Hammas comes out with as their official position on the candidates? Hang yourself AOBE, make my day!

Someone should have said this forum is for open questions and not come in prepared with notes that right there should tell you not to vote for her as she does not know how to follow directions which can be a big problem.

ReplyDeleteMs. Hernandez has NOT won anything. She still has to run against Mr.Lopez. Are the Cameron County Democrats going to cry foul if Mr. Lopez wins? LOL. About the forum for school district positions. I didnt attend but in my personal opinion these organizations should keep out of politics because if the Texas constitution prohibits strike by teachers, the Texas Education bylaws state they are NOT to get involved in political organizations that deal directly with the profession they hold. If the people in this organization are so involved in the field of education, they should read the stipulations in their teaching contracts.

By stealing votes to force the most retarded possible Democrat candidates onto the ticket, such as Erin Hernandez, the Democrats succeed in making Republicans look better, smarter, and more honest. Even Republicans who don't agree with many Republican issues resist joining this un-American trash that is the Democrats. Racists believe Hispanic Democrats are idiots, liars and thieves, congrats on proving them right!
