From the editor: The following was written before the Begum vs. Hernandez election fraud case was dismissed based on time limitations before the general election, but the main issue raised was not exclusive to the case, so I will go ahead and publish the article.
At 10:30 am Tuesday, when Judge J. Bonner Dorsey bangs the gavel, it will not be about Begum vs. Hernandez anymore than the issue in 2010 was Pena vs. Hernandez. The real issue will be forcing the current Election Commission against their collective will, to run clean, fair elections.
Some of the politicos on the commission have been in office a quarter of a century and are not oblivious to the election fraud perpetrated in Cameron County. The details may not be in the Brownsville Herald, but are certainly part of coffee house banter at the court house. Short of a pro-active stance, citizens can only assume the commission likes things just the way they are.
During the last 12 months dozens and dozens of election fraud violations have been successfully prosecuted throughout Texas, including the improper handling of mail-in ballots, just not in Cameron County.
Hernandez Politiquera Witches Coven Openly Mock Democratic Process
Margarita Ozuna, Herminia Becerra |
After I took this photo, Herminia Becerra, the politiquera on the right under the Abelardo Gomez tent, grabbed my arm to give me some insight on Cameron County elections: "No one wins unless I say they win! I have run things for 50 years!"
Herminia wanted to talk that day during early voting at Cameron Park, but she, along with the rest of the Hernandez camp went into hiding during the 2010 Pena-Hernandez trial, giving the voters of Cameron County a gigantic "Fuck you!" Someone tipped me that they hid out in property on South Padre Island, but who cares now? Becerra's niece, Sylvia Garza-Perez, the Democratic Chairperson Elect, is also alleged to have thumbed her nose at democracy during that 2010 trial by telling witnesses waiting to testify that they could go home.
"Jim, The Hernandez Politiqueras Are At the Adult High Rise"
I got a call last night from Yolanda Begum saying that two of the Hernandez politiqueras were at the Brownsville Adult high rise on Levee Street on the eve of the Begum vs. Hernandez trial, telling subpoenaed witnesses they should not testify. This obvious obstruction of justice is consistent with the Hernandez' camp total disrespect for democracy, but it is also the way things are done in Cameron County.
Our community has the perfect recipe for continued voter fraud: 1 weak, easily manipulated election administrator, 1 indicted district attorney, disinterested in anything other than preparing his defense on county time, a baker's dozen politiqueras honored for their role in illegally harvesting votes, operatives allowed to suppress evidence, obstruct justice in voter fraud trials and 5 on the Election Commission who like it this way.

Jimbo, you're like a human being navigating a shit-filled animal farm. What you write is so, but the geography you walk is simply soiled ground. These commission members are really no different than most; they will effect their self-serving will. In Cameron County, that will has been rotten for eons, even before the Mexicans took over city and county government. It used to be that Mexicans cried about all the bullshit they got from white elected officials. Well, they got their chance, and what you write about here is merely the top coat of a bad paint job. I repeat: Better breeding will begat better offspring which will lead to better citizens which will lead to better government. At present, this town may as well be in Mexico. Vermin feel little pain until someone squashes them. Too many Mexicans in positions of leadership. Most of our Mexicans couldn't lead themselves away from the bar, the motel or the unemployment line. Facts, lad.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fabulous assessment. Wow! Right on the money. We all know it but few of us can say it like this guy. It's true, what he says. Not a proud time for Mexicans like me!
