Robert Duvall Is A Deadbeat

Doesn't Pay His Bills
I just spoke with the sister of two brothers who worked as extras on the Robert Duvall film tentatively titled "A Night In Old Mexico," that was filmed partially in Brownsville.

 It turns out that the two young men did everything asked of them in three days of work in the hot sun, but never got paid.

 Duvall stiffed the locals.  

A lady that owns a snack shop across from Market Square did say she got paid ten dollars for leaving her lights on all night.  The Duvall teams liked the way the small business looked lit up.

    So Bobby D. had to personally pay the extras? I doubt that. I'm sure it was an oversight. Also, checks for that usually come in the mail weeks later.

    Have them contact the casting company.

    The accounting office for the film is located at the second floor of the old city hall/bus station.

    fill out proper paper work and checks are available every Friday at old city hall or they can be mailed

    duvall is a star in the film. he is not the guy who cuts checks to the extras.

    The article was written tongue-in-cheek, although it goes over the heads of some. Duvall is not merely an actor in the film, though. He is the producer.

    Still Jim, Robert Duvall does not pay the extras, the casting company does. You know that you Do Do! Lily do not send in your story; Jim will ruin you and make jokes about in an insulting manner. Lily beware...................
