Illegal Flyers Dumped in Brownsville~Cheezmeh?

Crude Flyers

Illegal Flyers Given Wide Distribution in Brownsville

An associate of Alex Begum was approached by two men passing out flyers in Brownsville.  Two of the three flyers did not identify the campaign of record as required by the Election Code.   A few minutes later, he again noticed the two men,  but when he approached, they fled.

Political Flyers with Barbacoa

By sheer happenstance,  it was noticed that the flyers were being tucked into paper bags of barbacoa at a small tortilleria.  When it was pointed out to the store owner that one of the flyers contained inaccurate information about a prominent attorney, he decided to stop putting them in his bags of barbacoa.  Several stores nearby had also been issued a stack of flyers for distribution to their customers, but pointed to them in the trash.

This distribution seems to be the work of the some individual or group representing the Corrupt Three, Erin H. Garcia, Carlos Masso and Abelardo Gomez as the flyers attack Yolanda Begum and her son Alex, Luis Saenz and Pete Avila.  One of the flyers claims to have been paid for by Bringing Brownsville Change, the P.A.C. or Political Action Committee of Brownsville Cheezmeh.  The address listed is 1215 E. Madison St, Suite D, Brownsville, TX 78520, where Linda Castro Dragustinovis has her Notario Publico.   The other two flyers do not comply with the election code and identify the campaign producing them.

Crude Graphics

The flyers are crude and amateurish with a weird graphic illustrating sexual abuse.  Recently, the campaigns of Carlos Masso, Erin H. Garcia and Abelardo Gomez have joined forces to form a disreputable ticket.  In the primary, Gomez and Masso had a corresponding number of mail-in votes.  It is speculated that the group may use the same politiquera or group of politiqueras to harvest a block of votes for the runoff.

The above is from a Dallas case where anony handouts were passed out against City Councilman Steve Salazar
Instead of relying on Alex Begum's misapplication of the law why not just check it out.

Again not that the First Amendment matters to the Begum's but it does matter to the people.

The courts have already found the application of judges endorsing candidates to be to vague to be enforceable. One of the three judges found it outright unconstitutional. Texas Supreme Court Justice was cleared of all charges.

Until Alex Begum learns something about the law, it might serve him and his mother well to stop talking about it.

    5. Instead of attacking me how about attacking the opinion of the Court of Criminal Appeals. It is a well known case out of Dallas. They put out anony handouts accusing Steve salazar of being a liar - they called him Pinochio - you can copy and paste the quote and read all about it - but you will not because attacking with disinformation is all Yolanda Begum's supporters ever have

Every lawyer knows that Justice Hecht was cleared for endorsing Bush's Supreme Court nomination. He was even invited to testify for the candidate. javiar Villarreal and Alex Begum know this, so why lie. This is not stuff you cannot find on teh internet - the truth is out there - so why lie?

    10. Let's try this a way even dimwits can understand - the courts held the rule unconstitutional. Texas loves to keep unconstitutional laws on the books, eventhough they are not enforceable. Any competent attorney knows this. For example 21.06 of the Texas Penal Code was held unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court, but yet here it is still on the books.

      http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/PE/htm/PE.21.htm#21.06

Further, you moron - it is the First Amendment not the Second Amendment.

Now let's try this a way even an idiot can understand. This is what you "ANONY's" are saying - you can come on here or anywhere and post anonymous comments about any candidate and that is legal, but the second you put it on a piece of paper and give it to your neighbors as an anony it is illegal. Do you realize how stupid you sound?

Any citizen can print anything they want on a piece a paper and distribute it. They are still subject to defamation law, but the state cannot bar it because it is about a political candidate. This was this issue in Dallas and the Court of Criminal Appeals tossed the criminal case against John Doe because the provision was unconstitutional.

The rule is different for PAC's or candidates - but every citizen can print anything they want and distribute it. Ben Franklin did this all of the time.

Not that facts matter to you - I know people like you - But my entire career was about winning Free Speech cases before the Texas Supreme Court and in criminal cases. I won a criminal trial on nearly identical terms as these flyers.

I spent thousands of my own money suing the FBI Director to bring charges against Villalobos and Abel Limas and for the record my charges included charges against Carlos masso.

YOu cannot point to any complaint ever against me by a client. Every complaint relates to my work against corrupt judges, save one - and in that case the man admitted to lying. He tried to steal an election using politiqueras. My client won the election contest on multiple appeals and mandamuses. He filed a complaint against me because he lost in court.

There is a clear record of who I am - and who I am is the guy who put everything on the line to fight judicial corruption. This is a very public record. What have you done? Nothing but post anony comments like a true coward.

I am preparing a similar lawsuit against FBI Direct Mueller to force indictments against the BISD majority - are you going to attack me for that also?

Some of my local political friends say that there are "no ethical codes" during campaigns.....so that anything goes in campaigns, but the ethical conduct should follow. What crap. If it we accept unethical conduct in campaigns....we vote to support unethical conduct. Not that many people here know what that is.

    4. irregardless is not a real wordJuly 23, 2012 at 6:14 AM

Irregardless Versus Regardless. (From some online dictionary)

First, let's talk about irregardless. Some people mistakenly use irregardless when they mean “regardless.” Regardless means “regard less,” “without regard,” or despite something. For example, Squiggly will eat chocolate regardless of the consequences.

The prefix ir- (i-r) is a negative prefix, so if you add the prefix ir to a word that's already negative like regardless, you're making a double-negative word that literally means “without without regard.

      Irregardless is concidered nonstandard English.
