The City of Brownsville will be hosting a Complete Streets Workshop Wednesday, May 16, at the Brownsville Events Center. The workshop will feature Mr. Kevin St. Jacques, a Member of the National Complete Streets Speakers Bureau.  Mr. St. Jacques will present a complete streets overview and give insights drawn from his experience in working with other cities, MPOs and organizations to develop complete street policies.

Complete Streets
are designed to enable safe access for all users-- pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders of all ages and abilities.   Complete Streets make it easy to cross the street, walk to shops, or bicycle to work.  Most streets are designed only for speeding cars.  By implementing complete streets policies, cities across the country are changing their approach to building streets and creating safer, more livable street networks for everyone.
Join us as we work towards creating complete streets for Brownsville!

  1. Please please please look into UN AGENDA 21 this is one of the steps to take away our freedoms. Google complete streets and un agenda 21. also please check out democratsagainstunagenda21.com. Here is a sub title from democratsagainstunagenda21 web site:
"UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is implemented worldwide to inventory and control all land, all water, all minerals, all plants, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all information, and all human beings in the world. INVENTORY AND CONTROL."
This is extremely damning for our well being. Please THIS MUST BE STOP.
JIM AND NENA I BEG YOU AND DO MORE RESEARCH ON THIS AND HELP ME SPREAD THE WORD. THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR BROWNSVILLE AND AMERICA. IT'S FRIGHTENING STUFF.
Just to give you a sampling if this is implemented if the use of cars is drastically eliminated thats going to affect the entire auto industry like car dealerships, used car dealers, auto mechanics, gasoline stations, auto insurance companies, car wash businesses, auto parts stores, even junk yards that sell used auto parts, etc etc. many will loose business and/or go out of business, thousands of people will loose their jobs. It doesn't stop there if we have less or no access to travel in cars many stores, restaurants, churches etc etc will have less customers, and will suffer the same demise. I know this sounds very crazy, when I first learn about this it just didn't made sense but, it explains why the city leadership has made some crazy decisions that left me scratching my head. Once again I BEG you and do more research on this cause I'm not kidding THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS TO OUR WAY OF LIFE.
Please look into this further and let's spread the word to have the community at this meeting to stop this! I'm barely giving you an idea how bad this is, AMERICA MUST BE SAVE.
