ReplyDeleteHow come we lost pan am airlines… I ask poor city leadership… just like today
ReplyDeleteYour lack of understanding of history is why you ask such a silly question. Brownsville was necessary during the early years because all we had was prop service. Once jets became the norm Pan Am could fly from Houston, Dallas, NY. Pan Am gone under because they could not adapt to all the new international airlines once jet service came about. Brownsville had nothing to do with the decision of Pan Am to leave Brownsville. The new era of jets ended Pan Am in Brownsville.
DeleteI’m assuming all the players we employees
