Beautiful Vietnam, a country the U.S. once ravaged, understands exactly how to deal with Donald Trump, our Grifter-in-Chief.  They know that, with Trump, its all about money.

While Trump 1.0 used the White House as his personal ATM machine, raking in millions, Trump 2.0 is openly and blatantly grifting the world for his personal benefit.  This dude has no shame!

                                      

Vietnam, with a trade surplus with the U.S. of more than $120B, is currently facing a 46% tariff imposed by Trump as he wants the country, with a per capita income of $5,000 and a population less than 1/3rd of the U.S. to somehow buy more of our country's products.

Notice the deal currently on the table, according to the Wall Street Journal:

"Vietnam, which has a surplus of more than $120 billion with the U.S. and saw tariffs on its goods rise to 46% on Liberation Day, shows how anxious countries are to stave off the duties," the Journal reported. 

"It recently closed a $300 million financing deal to buy a fleet of new Boeing jets. It pushed through the authorization of Starlink, the satellite internet service owned by Elon Musk, a close Trump adviser. And it accelerated the approvals for a $1.5 billion Trump resort."

Damn!  Trump is using these tariff negotiations to get his $1.5B resort in Viet Nam fast-tracked, for that country to buy more jets from Boeing and to send millions Elon Musk's way.

That's how grifting works, boys and girls!  Well, actually, it's beyond grifting.  It's extortion!
