Jim, you are missing the issue. Nothing here surprises anyone. The problem is too many people are running cover for the Democrats. The Democrats decision to play this as cynics just waiting for the Republicans to implode is treacherous. There is no issue waste in government is real. Unless Musk's actions are to create chaos, then he is not a genius. His actions are actually creating more inefficiency,
The random firing of employes means 6 months to a year to train one of the remaining employes to do an essential job. The VA is saying I should put in for a disability aid. I am in for a long haul to recovery.
Until I finish the 6 weeks as an inpatient in the care hospital, they will not know the for sure my needs. I will not do it because Musk now has our records. Technically since I am over 55, they cannot change my benefits unless they can prove I am no longer in need of medical assistance.
While I know there is no way they can prove such a thing, I know Musk's trained hit men can say I no longer need medical care, and I will spend years in court fighting the finding. The VA knows full well why I will not ask for additional benefits in term of an aid.
I met a meat inspector here the other day. They are afraid to say anything or do their job for fear of being fired. He was clear no one is going to raise concerns with the avian flu in cattle. When we are paying $20 a pound for hamburger meat, someone will care.
THIS IS 100% ON THE DEMOCRATS
Individuals and organizations are suing and stopping Trump and getting injunctions. The Democrats are fully within their authority to sue Musk and the Trump Administration and to show some courage by alleging an unconstitutional administrative coup. The Power of the Purse belongs to Congress. If the President through his powers can legally usurp the Power of the Purse from Congress, then the constitutional powers are discretionary and not mandatory.
They need to include Speaker Johnson for abandoning his constitutional powers. But no, the Democrats are going to allow this to play out resulting in immeasurable damage to the economy, individuals, and the function of government. The Republicans will not implode, because when things collapse Trump will declare an illegal national disaster and suspend Congress. How many times did he tell us the last election would be the last?
If I were not held up for 7 more weeks and have no idea how much home recovery there will be, I would file the suit to include Trump, Musk and both the majority Speaker and minority Speaker. The Republicans are too stupid to realize once Musk has the government, they will be mustered out next. The cynical Democrats are waiting for the county to collapse so they can take control in 2027 after the 2026, elections.
The Democrats are too self-serving to realize before the 2026 elections Trump will have already suspended Congress.
Thanks for letting me vet Jim.
There are a lot of issues frustrating me right now. The silly one is my roommate may have found the only box of pencils in my office which are not sharpened. I have a process of using a 5x8 legal pad to write down known variables and then apply them to the question. I have no pencils. I will not bother the staff to help me get sharpened pencils. That would be an abuse on my part.

Thanks Jim. I am under a lot of morphine and narco. Is it making me more or less coherent. I outlined my points with a pen. I would have preferred a pencil. I do not care which side anyone is on. I hope this sparks discussion. If you are anti Trump and you were not outraged to learn different government agencies gave millions to Politic.com, then you do not care about waste.

Jim did you see Trump just ordered refugee applications for Afrikaans. You know the white people of South Africa who
