Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. |
A friend spoke some to me some months back about RFK, Jr. and, while I respect the candidate's strong positions on the environment and clean water, some of his other ideas are somewhat off-putting; that Covid-19 was targeted to attack "Caucasians and Blacks," that Chinese and Ashkenazi Jews are less susceptible to it, that labs in the Ukraine have been collecting Russian and Chinese DNA to "target people by race," that school shootings are linked to the drug Prozac.
Kennedy's campaign never seemed to go anywhere, polling in single digits even before his confession of skinning a road-killed bear and positioning it in New York's Central Park as if struck by a bicycle.
Now, the nutty candidate's campaign is further crippled by New York's denial of a ballot position because he submitted a fake address.(That's a familiar political tactic in Brownsville that apparently doesn't always fly in New York.)
It's been reported that Kennedy met with Donald Trump last month in Milwaukee seeking a job in the Trump cabinet in exchange for an endorsement.
When the question was posed if Kennedy would approach Kamala Harris with a similar offer, Kennedy responded: "I have no plans to endorse Kamala Harris for President, but I do have a plan to defeat her."
Yet, Kennedy did approach the Harris campaign, using the leverage of his 5% polling bloc to secure a position in the Harris administration.
Evidently, Kamala Harris' answer was "no thanks," a response Kennedy called "a strategic mistake."
While the American political system is not third party friendly, it's surprising that a candidate for President is willing to serve in either of two administrations representing distinctly different ideologies, so it boils down to simply needing a job.
This man exemplifies what some rich people do when they have everything: crazy things that have no reasonable explanations.

He comes from a family that has been powerful for generations, perhaps power is what he wants. With a documented history of shaping the truth to support his narrative it is hard to trust him.
ReplyDeleteKennedy is a total dumbass!
