 From the editor: On July 16, 2024, the Brownsville City Commission in proclamations sponsored by Commissioners Roy De los Santos and Bryan Martinez, honored the respective bishops of Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

    Now, a ceremony for the Firemen from Brownsville and Matamoros. Also the doctors, nurses from Brownsville and Matamoros.
    Teachers from Brownsville and Matamoros.
