 From the editor: On July 16, 2024, the Brownsville City Commission in proclamations sponsored by Commissioners Roy De los Santos and Bryan Martinez, honored the respective bishops of Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

    Teachers from Brownsville and Matamoros.
