Surely, the Disney song had it right: "It's A Small World (After All)."
Dany Tirza Explaining Security at West Bank |
Dany Tirza, ex-Israeli military officer and one of the developers of the West Bank wall, claims there exist strong connections between Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that recently attacked Israel, and Mexico's Sinaloa Cartel, noted for distribution of illicit drugs, money laundering and gruesome atrocities to protect their territory.
Tirza finds possible connections between the two groups.
Notably, there's an eery similarity in construction of the tunnels under the U.S. Border Wall and recent tunnels discovered under the West Bank wall. Both tunnels were extremely deep, as much as 20 meters(over 65 ft.), using cement and steel construction with lighting, hydration systems and waterproofing.
Mexico City Journalist Oscar Balmen |
Also, according to journalist Oscar Balmen, Hamas was paid handsomely by the Sinaloa Cartel for the design and building technique of these tunnels and the two groups have formed an alliance to distribute in Lebanon, Syria, Israel and beyond.
Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson |
This is not a new concept as former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson spoke of ties between the Sinaloa Cartel and Middle East drug trafficking back in 2017.
In 2021, tape recordings were discovered linking the Sinaloa Cartel to drug trafficking in Turkey.
Well, it would be simple-minded to think the world's largest drug cartel would limit their distribution and not go global.
It's the link to Hamas that simultaneously intrigues and frightens.
Now, that's a story you would never read in the Brownsville Herald.
ReplyDeleteDrug dealers are businessmen and they know how to make their work a success. In the past: coffee, Tabaco, alcohol, were all illegal and the dealers made alliances, connections to take the products to the consumers. The government has to stop them like in the past. The government hires smart people that destroy the cartels and the trouble-makers.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that comment. I'm certain you'd agree that teaming up with a terror group would not be a good business move.
