According to a report by Rear Admiral David Hagari, an errant rocket, one of ten launched from Palestinian positions at 6:59 PM Tuesday, landed in the parking lot of the Al-Ahli Hospital in the Zeitoun neighborhood south of Gaza City.

Current casualty estimates range from 200-300.

The absence of a crater in the parking lot supports the finding that the rocket was not Israeli as does intercepted Palestinian communication indicating the errant rocket was launched by Palestinian Islamic Jihad. 

Although investigatory work continues, Israeli rockets are known for precise accuracy, another counterpoint to Palestinian claims.
