Ana and I ran into Steve Guerra at H.E.B. Plus this evening.
Guerra confirmed that he was indeed running for a second term as a Port of Brownsville Commissioner.
"It's hard to believe that four years have nearly past," Guerra stated.
It would be difficult to find a politician more open about the duties of his office than Guerra.

A couple of years ago, after we'd asked a few questions about the port, he gave us a boat tour of port operations while explaining how each aspect of the facilities worked together.
It's always a pleasure to run into Steve Guerra, an extraordinarily gracious public servant.
