NELIPOT TEA HOUSE, 515 EAST SAINT CHARLES STREET, TEA, HERBS, HEALING

Puente/Brulay House of 1911
The Puente/Brulay House, built in 1911, is now home for the Nelpot Tea Shop, an eclectic mix of tea, herbs, clothing and art at 515 E. St. Charles Street owned by the Alex Hemberger family.

Healing and preventative medicine is the underlying theme.

Hemberger moved to Brownsville in 2000, marrying a local girl.  The couple have two sons, 18 and 6.

  5. Cool to see Brownsville is eclectic. Is the old Unity church still around? That place was awesome, full of healing, yoga and good feels, you should check it out Jim and let us know.
