Sylvia's letter, though self-serving, was professionally written, Otis's, not so much, with grammatical and spelling errors, even referencing his several awards from the Brownsville "Hearld."
After this morning's article, where we detailed the ethical challenges posed by Sylvia's money request, Juan Montoya of El Rrun Rrun published a cleverly spun retort to our article, that was fine with Sylvia Atkinson writing the money request letter, but took exception to Ruben O'Bell receiving it. (Just a suggestion, Ruben. Next time you get a letter from Sylvia Atkinson, don't open it.)
Anyway, boys and girls, here's the recently released Herman Otis Power, Jr. money request letter. Get out your checkbooks. Break open your piggy banks. Give till it hurts. . . . . or not. LOL

Reading the letter, I think he thinks he’s still a BISD trustee. Does he have a fake BISD board meeting room in his office, like former presidents with a fake Oval Office in their presidential library, where holds pretend meetings?
