Right about now our local legislators representing us in Austin must be shitting in their pants. Will they get accused of sexual harassment by a legislative aide they took out for drinks years ago? What used to be semi-acceptable last year is no longer tolerated today. An awkward and unwanted goodnight kiss after a drunken evening now qualifies as sexual harassment. We're starting a contest to guess which legislators, if any, elected the last 30 years get outed first. Any guesses? For all we know, some may have already pulled a Blake Fartonhold and paid accusers with our taxpayer money.
ReplyDeletePieces of shit
ReplyDeleteAs a man, I am now forcing myself to remember my interactions with the opposite sex when trying to flirt with them. Was I unintentionally harassing them by trying to get to them more intimately? Will the fact that I am no longer a young athletic looking man count against me? Am I now considered a creepy old guy who makes women uncomfortable just by admiring them?
ReplyDeleteWill someone decide that my mere ugly old mug makes them feel uncomfortable to work with and accuse me of fomenting a hostile and abusive work environment? Will mere unproven allegations by anonymous women cause the loss of my job? What happened to due process?
I am scared now.
