Commissioner Rick Longoria, Johnny-Come-Lately On Lincoln Park Issue, Invites City Commission, Juliet Garcia to Smell the Caca At Sewer Plant

From the editor:  Someone sent me the post below from the "Brownsville Cheezmeh" Facebook page. (I've been blocked from the site since 2011.)  The excerpt shows Rick Longoria calling for a "15 minute coffee meeting" at the proposed new site for Lincoln Park next to a sewage treatment plant.  Rick invites the mayor, two commissioners and the former President of UTB(Juliet Garcia) to "smell exactly what they want our children exposed to."  

 City Commissioner Rick Longoria, Jr., who initially voted for the sale of Lincoln Park, experienced a "Come to Jesus" at the public town hall meeting at the Tony Gonzalez Gymnasium October 30 when a throng of citizens from his district clearly stated their opposition to the sale.  Also contributing to Rick's need to embrace the issue, his District 1 opponent, Roman Perez, has issued "Remember Lincoln Park" bumper stickers to his Southmost supporters. 

 Since Rick does not specify when the "coffee meeting" will be held, we suspect this is not a serious proposal, but just political gamesmanship.

    lol ... What a laugh! When is this rhetorical coffee meeting to take place? I couldn't help but notice that he didn't set a date or time. I guess he expects the Mayor to call and set up the meeting? and, if he doesn't, then he can blame the Mayor? WTF, pendejo. This is SO obviously ridiculous that he should not only be impeached, but exiled, as well, too poo poo park, indefinitely. Or Stinky Falls on Robindale, on the northside.

    If you read Ricardito's FB post closely, he says that he wants to have a 15 minute meeting at the park so they can smell what our children will be exposed to. He goes on to babble that PUB has assured him things would change and that he is going to hold them accountable. So he is in favor of moving it, just like he voted, but PUB has to get the smell under control? What a Pendejo!

    Tony Martinez, Rose Gowen, Deborah Portillo, Estela Chavez Vasquez, Julieta Garcia, Fred Rusteberg, Irv Downing, and company are all pieces of shit. They'll be right at home next to the treatment plant so of course they won't object. They all brown nose the UT Regents so they actually enjoy the smell of shit.
