Good! This is why we need the FBI and other federal agencies to clean up this shit. All this corruption will not be resolved by the locals down here. It will have to be outsiders coming into the Valley and start setting all the rat traps to capture these little third world hooligans.
ReplyDeleteMr. Barton, there is a local advocate who has been rallying against voter abuse atrocities right here in Brownsville, conducting interviews on Channel 5 and 23, yet you do not post her efforts!! Why do you overlook our very own champion for voter integrity and highlight others from up the Valley riding her coattails? Are you and you blog as biased as those politicians you like to write about and critic?
ReplyDeleteYou likely meant to use the word critique, but just a word or two in response to your issues. I know Mary Helen and I doubt she's concerned about who gets credit for fighting voter abuse. I've printed several articles initiated by Mary Helen and will continue to do so whenever she asks. I was not aware of recent TV interviews, but I've videotaped her CAVA interviews conducted by Daisy Martinez. You're totally off base if you think I have a bias against Mary Helen.

DeleteBrownsville made the NY Times with its political corruption exposed by CAVA. Of all things to make headlines. Shameful. So many in the valley act like there are no current laws against buying a vote. Talk about self-imposed ignorance. The politiqueras won't be collecting fat checks from candidates for buying votes with drugs or smokes, etc., unless they are looking to go to jail sooner than later. The FBI is investigating...let's see who is next to be exposed. Try paying those Adult Day Care Center Operator's and Van Driver's to exploit the elderly and infirmed...just try it and see what happens. I can't wait to see who is next. Give credit where credit due...that would be to Mary Helen. Nothing wrong with that. Take your bow Ms. Flores, you earned it! I have my popcorn ready.
