Ugly Roof Award Winner, the backside of the finely detailed building at 12th and Adams This is the view from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception parking lot, adjacent to the gift shop. This addition to the original building resembles an old lean-to shed.

Downtown Entrepreneur
No access to inside Market Square. . . . . . Is Brad Pitt inside?
Another excellent post, Jim! Love those old buildings in "worn Brownsville" (NY Times description, not mine), but would suggest that you pose some high-throated Pachucos or other ne'er-do-wells in front, so that viewers can see the entire context. You have found "The Lost Blogging Road," my friend...

(You have found "The Lost Blogging Road," my friend...) He's serious Jim. He believes that's all your blog is good for. Posting pics of old buildings. Ban him.
DeleteDags.

ReplyDeleteHalf Moon Cantina, needs more trees by the high wall, some Cinzano umbrellas and tables, also throw in a small outside bar and I;m there. So, what kind of crowd hangs around there? Young, senior citizens, cowboy types, fresas, college, narcos, what?
