The lady on the left with the "Erin H. Garcia" hat and the "Luis V. Saenz" t-shirt is Brownsville's most notorious politiquera. Her street of residence, Western Blvd. was represented by nearly 100% harvested mail-in votes in 2010. Her participation, yet alone representation in ANY campaign is a deal breaker for those who respect the democratic process. There is nothing else for the candidate to say, explain or spin. He or she know full well the perception and function of this lady who once told me: "I've been running elections for 50 years. No one wins unless I say so!" So, ok, Mr. or Ms. Candidate. Go ahead and get your win. You just missed an opportunity to do something historic for Cameron County by standing up for clean elections and earn the respect of those who view the democratic process as something to protect.

ReplyDeleteHer support for Saenz clearly states that Saenz is willing to continue the same judicial corruption that we have seen here for decades. By hiring her, he demonstrates his willingness to pay for votes and let's the voters know that we can expect little change in the "in-justice" system that exists in the Cameron County Judiciary. A vote for Saenz is a vote to continue corruption in Cameron County and we can't expect him to fairly defend the citizens. Those who pay will get one type of justice; those that can't pay will get the shaft. Too many sleezy lawyers in Cameron County who depend on public handouts to make a living....who can't earn a living without the public tit.

Saenz makes a big fuss about Mattingly working for the DA, while Becerra may be sitting in prison for vote fraud within a year? How else is she "helping" his campaign?

DeleteExactly. Every candidate was there including Saenz, who seemed to play a prominent role in the event. I doubt Herminia changed her shirt at the event, but if she did, it was not the message to send for a candidate who opposes voter fraud. If a candidate isn't sensitive to the harm caused to the democratic process by politiqueras BEFORE the election, he likely won't be responsive afterwards.
Did I call the B.U.C. "losers"? Of course not. That's a lie. That was the very reason Rigo and I posed for a pic after the article I wrote about Cata. We wanted to show that we could disagree without being disagreeable.
My respect for Rigo, Marco, George and others has not diminished because we don't support exactly the same candidates in every race.
As for the claim that I'm like Erasmo Castro Dragustinovis, you know better. That's simply your anger clouding your thinking. Not only do I differ greatly from Erasmo, but I'm very different from you, because I have the courage to sign my comment and you did not.

Zeke is loyal to Saenz, and Saenz is lucky to have such a strong, loyal supporter to tirelessly defend him. But a photo like this just doesn't pass the smell test. Rather than make Zeke do all the hard work trying to make excuses for why a known politiquera is on the Saenz campaign, Saenz himself should come forward and explain. Two things I would like to hear from Saenz himself:
Delete1. how he plans to prosecute corrupt government officials
2. how he plans to prosecute election fraud, if he has any plan to stop the manipulation of elections by people like this, harvesting votes from the elderly, illiterate and mentally challenged.

ReplyDeleteI don't know Saenz personally, but those defending him on this blog would do well to stop attacking Mattingly and Barton. It needs to come from Saenz himself. Advise Saenz, to release a written statement about how he plans to fight election fraud, and goverment corruption by those officials who were elected by fraud.

DeleteThe woman in the Saenz T-shirt represents all that is wrong about the election process in our area. I was there and witnessed the fact that there were a lot of other T-shirts given out by a lot of the candidates. She was also handshaking with a lot of candidates and was being photographed with a lot of people there. This was a public free event and there was no one to police the wearing of T-shirts. I did not see her put the Saenz shirt on but and even if Mr. Saenz opposed this I am sure he couldn't have said anything for it her right to dress as she pleases. However you are spot on that Mr. Saenz should make some kind of statement on where he stands regarding this issue as well as how he inteneds to deal with it. And while a lot of the candidates at the event are very guilty of using the politiquera services, it is now the opportune time to do something about this and stop this methodology to harvest votes. If not now, when?

ReplyDeleteI've been to almost all of Saenz' functions and have never seen Ernie, Norma, Erin the Andrades, Masso, Gomez, or Ezquivel there. They are not his base, they took this opportunity to crash a Democratic event and fake like they are now his buds so maybe he won't prosecute them after he wins. Only time will tell, hopefully, he won't be another Cascos after he wins. Cascos had these voter fraud idiots against him and now has chummed up to Ernie, who is team politiquera. I'm surprised that even Ernie hangs out with these people. It shows how much of a prostitute election time has made him. Supposedly Ezquivel, Andrade, Gomez spent over 75k to get Masso elected, who knows what would've been pulled of if that happened.
